The London Agreement shall enter into force on 1 May 2008. European patent proprietors will no longer have to file a translation of the specification for patents granted for an EPC Contracting State Party to the London Agreement if having European patent document in one of the three EPO languages.

Identification of the entrepreneur
As of 1 March 2008 the Act No. 344/2007 Coll. amending commercial code comes into the effect. This amendment extends the compulsory identification of the entrepreneurs for the contracts and for the internet websites.
